This RARE find was actually handmade by my wife's 70+ year-old grandfather in the 1960's. It was a treasure that he lovingly made but it was never used as intended, so the sham simply remained packed away until found in later years.
This is beautiful work as you can see from the photo of the inside (nearly as nice looking as the outside! This piece features what appears to be a dove perched among two large roses. The back of the pillow is finished out in a satin-type material and the sham simply needs a pillow, OR it could be stuffed as a pillow. Someone could also have the option of using it as a wall hanging.
Whatever way it is used, it will be sure to bring a touch of the outdoors in.
