RS Prussia 19th Century Ornate Rose Gilt Scalloped Cabinet Bowl

Listing for a gilded, floral molded porcelain display bowl with hand painted details and a rose center. This bowl came from the estate of a local art collector, and was believed to have been in the family for nearly a century.This piece is unmarked, although we believe it to be an RS Prussia bowl. A large percentage of RS Prussia pieces were shipped unmarked, and the exquisite detailing, gilding, and floral molding of this piece are highly reminiscent of the legendary German manufacturer. With that having been said, I cannot say with certainty that this is an RS Prussia piece. Royal Vienna and J.S.V. Germany are another (smaller) possibility, although I think this is unlikely.The bowl is in great condition, with only minor signs of age. Limited areas of wear around the delicate golden rim (refer to pictures). Mild paint deterioration around the rose leaf. A smattering of small dots around some of the hand painted details (dots of paint original to the bowl, I believe) and areas on the outside of the bowl where the artist touched the brush to the porcelain. Likewise, there are a few exceedingly small areas where gild was accidentally applied to the exterior of the bowl. All signs of both the piece's age and handcraftsmanship.
