White gloss pedestal bowl by Frankoma Pottery #235 on maker’s mark on bottom.
Mid-20th-century vintage original art eventually crossed over to arts & crafts/mission style pieces. So either way Frankie’s is sure to complement any home’s interior design. The planter vase is handmade and is an original Frankoma/Gracetone product, a must-have for any pottery collector. (Grace was his artist wife.)
Frankoma Pottery by John F. Frank opened shop in 1933. The name “Frankoma,” a combination of his last name and the last three letters of Oklahoma, beginning in 1934 using local clay. The factory moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, in 1938. Many changes over years, sold 2010. Very collected line.
