Personal collection release! A rare, double sided, cabinet sized display specimen of blue dumoritierite included quartz from the Vaca Morta Quarry of Serra da Vereda Boquira in Bahia, Brazil. This high quality, fully crystallized gem has inclusions of blue rutilated dumortierite as radiating, feathery sprays. The natural specimen features an aesthetic cluster of single and double terminated quartz crystals. The dumortierite covers the entire base and gives the quartz a dreamy blue hue. Making this specimen extra rare unique is that the quartz has areas of druzy sugar look faces, adding pretty sparkle. Dumortierite quartz is rarely found in a cluster, especially at this size. A one of a kind, collector’s grade mineral measuring approx 8.5 by 7 by 3 cm, and weighing nearly half a pound at 5.7 ounces. Includes the mineral ID / locale info tag.
