A piece of history, cast iron smoking ash tray stand. Back in the day when smoking was the norm. Curved dragon head and neck with 2 arms that you could rest a cigarette on over a, what I believe to be, a metal or glass ashtray / bowl that is missing. The dragon's mouth could easily hold a cigarette or cigar as well. Fluted straight metal pipe goes down to a vase like look of jadeite glass. The cast iron base is 6 sided and has an intricate scroll and geometric stylized feet. Very Art Nouveau and Art Deco. There is one chip in the glass on the bottom. The glass does NOT glow. This item measures 26 3/4-inches tall and 9 1/8-inches wide and weighs almost 6 pounds. The last two pictures are the top taken apart and how it will be shipped individually wrapped and enclosed with the bottom half. Please see all pictures, sold as seen and described.
