This figurine is 5.25 tall and has no cracks, mars or blemishes or crazing, it is in PERFECT MINT Condition. The trademark (TMK 7 – Hummel Bee) shows it was made circa 1990-1999. It was created from Sister Maria’s drawing by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1937. It has been called “Three Pals” and “Happy-go-lucky Fellow”.
Sister Maria had a love of children and a whimsical nature and she sketched them in various situations. This Charming little boy is dressed in his lederhosen and scarf. He has been tasked with guarding two little piglets (a mother and child) as he stands there with his hands in his pockets.
The amount of detail on the piggies and little boy are remarkable and a testament to the artisans at Goebel.
