Smooth soft and fluid to the touch. Tie does displays nicely overall with general observation Up close magnifying examination: Two areas on the front of the lower tie are circled —noted with magnification with studying photography. On the reverse side of the front of the tie, inside-the shiny red GG ties lining- there could be a shadow viewed here -it is hard to say with the reflective quality of the lining or a spot.
