Each goat produces about 80–170 grams of cashmere wool per year.Processing: The wool is collected by hand-combing the goats, then cleaned and sorted. It's then spun by hand on a spinning wheel to create yarn. The yarn is so fine that it's only 12–16 microns in diameter.
