Discontinued (set of 2) DENBY Langley ENGLAND BOSTON Dishwasher Oven Freezer Microwave Safe Blue Ivory Brown 8" Stoneware Rimmed Soup Bowls Denby Langley's Boston pattern was introduced in 1995, and was a popular item until its discontinuation in 2004. Each rimmed bowl measures roughly 8.25” in diameter x 1.5" deep, and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, showing minimal indication of use. Please note the labels on the bottoms indicate these are "seconds," as they'd been deemed imperfect, due to their unintentionally semi-teal/turquoise ombre Coloring (specs necessitate dark cobalt blue heather coloring; any and all anomalies/aberrations were relegated to a separate marketing tier, and labeled as such). Some people seek out the character offered with a less uniform color, some avoid it, and some don't care...I personally, prefer the ombre-fade in this shade of blue. Sold as pictured.
