This is rare (I can find no others) 7 1/2 glazed ceramic ashtray decorated with gold leaf Warranted 22K made by Sabin Industries (1946-1966 McKeesport PA) part of their Sabina Line for the Lake Wallenpaupack resort Cove Haven . The first Couples Only resort in the Poconos, Morris Wilkins opened Cove Haven in 1945. Sweetheart tubs were installed in 1963 and in 1984 thefamous champagne glass bathtub was added in one suite. This ashtray depicts a treasure chest and a pirate vixen. Do not pass up this unique item. You may never find another. One small chip on the bottom as pictured.
