After a long 8 years, Jordan Brand re-released the Air Jordan Retro 3 "True Blue" in 2009.When the first images of the "White/True Blue" Jordan 3 Retro surfaced online in the summer of 2009, the assumption by many sneaker blogs was that it "would be arriving stateside in the near future." Well, unfortunately for Americans, that didn’t happen. The True Blue Jordan 3 did land at a large number of retailers around the world, including major Canadian accounts like Foot Locker, which made them attainable, even if you had to phone a friend for an oop to get a pair. Like the previous True Blue Jordan 3 Retro, the 2009 version featured the Jordan Jumpman logo on the heel instead of the OG Nike Air as Tinker Hatfield intended it. But with 8 years between releases sneakerheads were ready for the Air Jordan Retro 3 "True Blue" to return, regardless of the heel logo, and the release sold out over the course of a few weeks. These shoes are 100% and come with their original box. They are missing their original shoe card. These shoes are in pretty good condition. As indicated in the photos. These shoes do have “chipping” in the blue paint of the midsole on both right and left shoe. The bottom of the shoes do show signs of wear. The air bubble of both right and left shoes are “foggy” due to oxidation. As of this date (2/14/2025) these shoes do not show any cracking or degrading of the soles
