This is an amazing estate find!The large wall hanging measures 36" wide by 66" long with fringed ends. The wooden dowel is 46".The piece is whip stitched and is actually 2 pieces of felt stitched together.Colors are browns, golden yellows and turquoise blue.Back is unpainted. There are few spots from storage and the edges of the dowels have some chips. The piece is stitched on to the dowel..it does not slide off.Style would be from "hippie" to Pennsylvania Dutch...This is hand painted and we have been unable to find any information on the artist.The name is Ray Larsen (or Lansen, or Lawson?)NOTE; This will be shipped in a Priority Mail large tube, carefully rolled.It will most likely need some steaming or pressing (from the back).
