This seated cat wearing a gold ribbon is handpainted in Vieux Herend red fishnet pattern. The four feet are painted gold as well as the pendant attachment on top. This particular piece is a very rare first edition. They are very tough to come by, as collectors do not like to give them up once acquired. On the bottom you’ll see the highly sought after first edition stamp, indicating that this piece was part of the initial manufacturing runs in 1996 for this figurine 15536The condition of this piece is pristine. As near mint as you’ll find anywhere. No scratches, chips, or cracks in the porcelain and no damage to the paint.
