This collection does not include all the poems that its author has written; but it comprises all that he would wish to preserve. The poetic impulse has been felt by him as a passion, but has seldom been used by him with conscious purpose. Most of his poems have drifted into life of their own accord, and therefore, and because their frail existence must be so dubious, he has ever viewed them as Wanderers, and so describes them here to be.
