Vintage Aymara Carved Wood Man Male Statue Figurine Sculpture Andes Bolivia Peru Chullo 7.5" Beautiful vintage, hand carved South American Aymara wooden male statue/figurine. This one-of-a-kind folk art piece is wonderfully hand carved in exceptional detail. This full body wood sculpture ismade from rosewood (I think) and portrays a full body man in a half-kneeling pose and wearing traditional, native Aymara dress including a Chullo hat from the Andes Mountain region of Bolivia/Peru/Chile. The piece is unsigned. Measures approx. 7 1/2" H x 4" W. In very good vintage condition with a bit of minor age expected wear and a few small dings/nicks in a couple ofplaces. There are no chips or cracks. Please see pictures for more details.
