For your consideration is this beautiful antique Gone-With-The-Wind type Parlor or Banquet Oil Lamp. The base bears the letter F , typically found on Fostoria Glass Company lamps, and the number 62 indicating the base type. Lamps by this company were produced during the late 1800s to about 1921 and were sold by companies like Butler Brothers during that time. The lamp consists of three separate glass parts: the round globe measuring approximate 7.5 inches in diameter x 7.5 inches tall, the glass stem measuring 5.2 inches in diameter at the widest section x 10 inches tall, and the oil bowl measuring 6 inches in diameter x 3.2 inches tall. With the round globe placed on top of the burner, the entire lamp measures 25.6 inches tall and weighs 5 lbs 6.1 ounces. There is a single rod inside connecting the stem to the base that can be dissasembled when a square nut is removed on the bottom. The inner glass hurricane is not present.
