Betsy Ann Ring-Stone (Wichita, 1923-2019)
This piece A Time For Thanks is signed in the casting and titled on the plaque front of the base; it comes with the 3 pieces shown in the 2nd pic - a pic of the sculpture, the artist Betsy Stone's info, and a little personal note from a childhood friend of Betsy Stone's daughter Linda.
The sculpture is in great shape on the whole, though please take note on the followings
1. Her nose(I can't tell if the white bit on the tip of her nose is a wear sign or it was made like a Native American facial marking)
2. There is a scratch close to her signature (on the bottom edge) and also one corner of the wood base (last pic)
3. Scratch on one of the shoulders (2nd last pic)
We have done some basic cleaning of this piece, but some of the hard-to-reach area might need some detail cleaning (basically dust)
