Vintage cased glass pitcher/ewer marked US Zone Germany , circa 1945-1949. Features a clear glass outer layer with a white layer of glass underneath, a beautiful gold & white hand-painted floral motif, and an applied handle.
This piece appears to be quite rare. I have never personally seen anything like it, and despite extensive research efforts I've been unable to find anything comparable.
Approximately 12.5 tall, 5 wide, & weighs just under 3 lbs.
In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Has a miniscule spot of paint loss on one of the gold leaves. Please see pictures.
