This is a SONY WM-EX511, a silver cassette Walkman from the 1990s.
It powers on, but it does not play cassette tapes. Therefore, please consider purchasing it as a faulty/junk item.
- Power was confirmed with AA batteries in the battery case.
- The motor makes a sound when the play button is pressed, but the gears do not turn. It is likely that the belt inside has broken due to age. I do not have a charger for gum batteries, so I was unable to confirm operation using gum batteries.
- There may be other defects that I am not aware of. Please consider purchasing this as a junk item.
