1930's wooden articulating pencil box with lithographed sliding lid featuring the seven dwarfs from Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs film, with the words Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's home from work we go. Bottom of the box is stamped Japan. The lid slides right, using a thumb notch, then the next section swings out so that there are two compartments for pencils or treasures. Condition: Shows wear on the wood exterior of the box commensurate with its age and user. The lid is in good condition. One side of the box has initials W. P. faintly carved into it. Interior is remarkably clean. Dimensions: 1.5 H x 2.25 D x 9.25 L. Weight: 4.4 oz.
