This is a small antique sold as a collector's remnant of ancient Peruvian cloth.According to other sources the actual cloth is Pre-Columbian era ca. 900-1280 AD.The wooden box and lid are made from beautiful wood that has been chiseled out from a single block of wood!The lid encases the ancient pattern cloth with glass and a 925 Sterling Silver frame.The box itself has minor cracks on two sides which appear to be natural to the wood and not damaged.It's beautiful but small at 2 1/2" square and 1 3/4" tall.Compare to a slightly larger example that is listed for $766 on eBay!
