Carel Paris Vintage Bootie Black Flame Design Pointed Toe sz 38.5 or US 7.5 - 8

Carel Paris Vintage boots with black flame design. Very rare style and quite striking. These boots are stamped as sz 38.5, but do run small. They would be best for someone who is normally a US 7.5 or narrow 8. The measured footbed length is just under 10.5”, but the toe is narrow. I would describe these as almond toe, but they are semi-pointed.These boots are in good vintage condition, but there are some marks on the heels. Please see closeup pictures. I also noticed that the leather texture on the right boot is slightly different from the left. It has tiny lines (not cracking), which could be from veins in the leather. The left boot has wrinkling along the top of the foot. The wrinkles might soften, but the boots would probably have to go to a professional cobbler to be treated while on wooden “shoe form”. I believe both the lines on the right boot and the wrinkles on the left would soften with the proper treatment, including conditioner or oil that a cobbler would apply over 24 to 48 hours. The toes could also be stretched with this type of treatment, if you need them to be wider or customized to your foot shape.If you have any questions or need additional pictures, please let me know.
