soft, comfortable lamb leather (it is not stiff like some leathers can be)the color is between olive and sage. it's a perfect neutral colorthere are no stains tears, scratches or signs of wear. hardware is brushed silver (not shiny)100% silk liningall zippers and buttons work perfectlymeasures 16" from shoulder to shoulder12" from armpit to bottom of jacket14" from armpit to armpitin my opinion this jacket ran a bit small. I usually wear a medium, but I got the large so that I could wear it comfortably over a thicker sweater
