This is an absolutely beautifully made mid Century, 1950s cream colored pearlized lucite box bag with a clear lucite hinged top engraved with a beautiful flower motif.this has a lever latch which you pull out and push in to open/close the handbag. the handle is also clear lucite and folds down. It’s in fantastic shape for its age and material! most of these all-lucite box bags have cracking or crazing especially at the naturally stressed spots where hardware is attached etc.while this dreamy little pearlized box bag has some wear, it’s relatively minimal with just some minimal surface scuffs here and there. (mostly on the bottom). there is one tiny (1/8th of an inch) scratch that we tried to capture in pics but it wouldn’t show up in photos as it’s so small; that we though might be a smallcrack but after inspection we noted it’s just a scratch, not a crack as it didn’t go though and again barely noticeable. we mention it here only to be thorough. all of the hardware works, no issues. again, it’s in fantastic shape. if you wanted to make it show quality you can have the lucite buffed by a professional but for the average collector it’s great quality and ready to wear!collection! It’s ready to show off!!! Good size. Measures approximately 6” wide, 3.5” deep, 3.5” tall4” Handle height
