Very similar to a William Spratling piece, this brooch features a hand holding a large purple tulip, likely made from amethyst. The hand, cuff and ribbon is sterling silver.The back is curious because the mark is partially covered by the ribbon. The visible part reads "Mex". The brooch has been acid tested.2.3" H x 1.5" WOverall in good preowned condition. There are a few flea bites on the middle peak of the flower. A small line (scratch?) at the bottom of the cuff.
