Rare collectible vintage Parker mechanical pencil with "PARKER DUOFOLDMADE IN U.S.A.o." engraved on barrel. The design is alternating stripes of black and pearlescent blues. Pre-owned condition with a lot of wear and scratches. The barrel twists smoothly and the cap fits tightly. There are not obvious functional issues but I do not have replacement leads to test. The eraser inside appears dried out and used up. Pencil is 5" long, about 3/8" in diameter at the rings. I believe this pencil to be from the 1940s based on some image searches but I am not a collector and would gladly accept more information from anyone who is interested. Likewise, I welcome questions about the item that may not have been addressed in the description.
