Huayue's Cambodia Facility Achieves BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 7 Certification

Huayue Group is pleased to announce that Huakang Packaging Technology Co., Ltd., our production facility in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, has been certified to the BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging Materials, Issue 7, achieving a Grade B rating. The certification was awarded by Intertek Certification Ltd following an announced audit conducted on 25–26 December 2025, with the certificate issued on 18 January 2026 and valid through 6 November 2026 (Site Code: 10015896; Certificate Number: 0196051).

This milestone reflects the continued growth of our Cambodia operation and its alignment with the same quality and safety expectations that our customers already associate with Huayue's manufacturing sites in China.
  

 
What BRCGS Certification Represents

BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards) is one of the most widely recognized certification programs for packaging manufacturers supplying global brands and retailers. The Packaging Materials standard evaluates a site's product safety systems, quality management processes, and manufacturing controls, examining everything from hazard analysis and traceability to hygiene practices and process consistency on the production floor. Achieving certification under Issue 7 means an independent certification body has assessed the site against the requirements of the standard within the certified scope.

 
Scope of the Certification

The certification at Huakang Packaging covers a defined range of production activities, including PE film blowing, gravure printing, and the manufacture of zipper seal and self-sealing bags, as well as slider extrusion and slider zipper seal bag production. It also covers plastic wrap film rolling used for food packaging applications. Color garbage bags are not included within the current scope of this certification.

This scope supports customers across the flexible-packaging activities covered by the certification, including plastic wrap film rolling for food-packaging applications.

For brand owners, packaging buyers, and distributors evaluating suppliers, third-party certification against a recognized global standard offers a useful reference point during supplier qualification and quality system assessments. It can support due diligence processes for food packaging programs and provide additional confidence in the production discipline and process controls in place at our Cambodia site.
